Your conversations stay yours.

The account basics you give us — your name and email — plus the conversations you run inside Charisma Lab: the scenarios you pick, the messages you write, the feedback the coach returns, and aggregate progress over time. We also keep light technical logs (request times, error traces) so we can keep the service running.

Sessions are stored on your account so you can revisit them and so the product can show you how your communication is shifting over time. They are not used to train public AI models, and they are not sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Charisma Lab uses third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to generate persona replies and coaching feedback. To do that, the contents of your messages and the relevant scenario context are sent to the provider over an encrypted connection. Those providers process the prompts to return a response and, under their own policies, do not use API content to train their public models. We do not give them your name, email, or any other account-identifying information.

Charisma Lab is a practice space, not a vault. Please avoid pasting things you wouldn't want a third-party AI provider to process: government IDs, financial account numbers, medical records, passwords, or other highly sensitive personal information about yourself or anyone else. Practicing the shape of a hard conversation does not require the literal sensitive details.

Account data and session history live in a managed Postgres database (Supabase) with row-level security, so your records are only readable by your account. The app is served over HTTPS. We do our best to keep things secure, but no online service is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

You can permanently delete your account and everything attached to it from inside the app: Settings → Danger zone. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — see how account deletion works. Prefer email, or want a copy of your data? Write to support@charismalab.app. We'll confirm and complete the request within a reasonable timeframe.

Charisma Lab is for people 13 and over. If you're under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian aware of what you're practicing.

If we change how data is handled in a material way, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. For larger changes we'll also send a note to your account email.
